We’re Louise and Deborah, the Nursery Managers at Sheffield Nursery.
With over 50 years of combined experience in early years, we are deeply dedicated to creating a warm, caring, and inspiring environment for every child in our care.
At Sheffield, we take huge pride in our diversity and the variety of difference we have within the nursery. We have families from lots of different countries, and have families and children who speak so many different languages! Throughout the year we celebrate all the difference events/festivals of different cultures, allowing children and families to show others what is special to them!
We sometimes have families join with children that don't speak English, however we may have children or staff that speak their first language and can assist in the language barrier and ensure that child has the full nursery experience alongside ensuing they feel heard. Our nursery has fantastic facilities, from an outdoor area with a treehouse and water stream! to a bike area with its own road! Our outside area also extends over to our baby room, allowing children to experience the outside, with the safety of having their own dedicated space, in this area we also have outdoor prams, promoting outdoor sleeping for children which has multiple benefits! Every corner of our nursery has its own sunshine/special moments.
Finally I think what makes our nursery so special is our team, each single member of staff show their passion for childcare daily, arriving each day ensuring the children have a new, unique day, full of learning, developing and obviously lots of fun!
